Mikayla Comes To Visit!

Now not to worry- I'm going to get around to talking about Thanksgiving- And how we had 41 people (8 were 3 years and below)- And how much fun it is to be surrounded by those you love- And how the house really, really, really looked terrific.

But first- Mikayla came to Ohio for her very, very first visit to see her Grama. And did I ever have a great time. This was one happy, happy Grama!

And you can actually take fairly decent pictures of a 6 month old- unlike the moving targets that are the toddlers that also come to visit Grama. And besides not once did Mikayla sigh deeply when I clicked that shutter just one more time.

So we have some pics- 100s (or as Reeder would say- millions) of pictures of Mikayla. Lucky for you I've shown a tiny bit of reserve and am not going to put a million up on the blog- but close... maybe just 999,999.

I spent hours- and I do mean hours sitting on the "porch" rocking and rocking and rocking.  Don't think either of us ever got quite enough!

And of course there was bath time- in the kitchen sink- with all of Grama's bath toys!

And then big hugs in the towel that lasted forever...

And lots of time to play...

 And sometimes there was food- for her or us...

And then one time we walked up to Half Day and had breakfast- just Brandy, Mikayla and her Grama!
