My favorite picture is the sky with the red contrails...WOW! And my favorite words are from Max about the through hikers who are so focused on the trail and the ultimate goal that they miss the waterfall. Reminds me of the wonderful words from the song "Inchworm" from the old movie "Hans Christian Andersen" - the inchworm who is so busy measuring the marigolds. "Seems to me you'd stop and see how beautiful they are".
